week 8 - Confirmation

My Thesis : Although marijuana is dangerous and has side effects but when we just look from medicals' viewpoints, it should be legalized.

1. What types of source am I using to defend my thesis?

Specific and exact statistics, and the symptoms that doctors(medical) has proven(Experts opinion).


2. Are my arguments mostly based on evidence, logic or emotion?

I think my arguments are mostly based on evidence, because I can give exact and specific data such as statistical data or experts opinions and fact.

Today, many people are taking marijuana in many purposes. But many people are arguing that it has double-sided character. The person who are taking marijuana are increasing because many experts have deducted that marijuana is safer than tobacco. Also, hateandanger.wordpress.com has showed the difference between soda and marijuana, but the an astonishing fact was that soda has more side effects in your health, however drinking soda is legal and taking marijuana is illegal. In contrast, 2themax.org has different idea that marijuana can cause "glazed" expression, red eyes, vomiting, kidney failure and many other symptoms. But today's topic is limited in medical purposes. If we just use it for medical purposes it has lots of advantages. It helps reduce various pain problems, relaxation, and help relieve PMS(Premenstrual Syndrome/Tension). Therefore I agree that we should legalize using marijuana for medical purpose and I have several reasons why I support this topic for discussion.
